The V Young Scientists Congress 2025 set a five-year participation record. More than 8K attendees and 47 cooperation agreements marked major growth. Breakthrough medical and technological innovations were showcased at the exhibition.

The V Young Scientists Congress became the largest in five years, marking a significant expansion in scientific participation and international cooperation. The 2025 edition gathered over 8K participants from 89 Russian regions and 100 foreign countries. More than 16K applications were submitted — three times higher than previous years — reflecting rising global interest in youth-driven scientific innovation.

Over 20 major Russian companies acted as scientific partners of the event, supporting research sessions, competitions and technology showcases. During the congress, 47 cooperation agreements were signed between businesses, research institutions and public organisations, strengthening the bridge between scientific development and industrial demand across multiple sectors.

Alongside the congress, a large exhibition was held across 8,900 square metres, featuring 66 stands — a 28% increase from last year. Several breakthrough technologies were presented for the first time, including a microprocessor-controlled prosthetic limb, a safe surgical device for thyroid and pituitary procedures, an ultra-thin wearable sensor integrated into a contact lens, and a targeted tumour-destruction method using focused ultrasound waves.
