Brics bridge- At the close of 2024, the Indonesian Exporters Association (GPEI) took a significant step forward by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the BRICS Federation, aimed at boosting collaboration across diverse sectors.
This partnership not only strengthens economic ties between BRICS nations and Indonesia but also builds a bridge toward global interactions, multifaceted collaborations, and mutually beneficial partnerships. The scope of this cooperation extends beyond international trade, encompassing cultural exchanges, finance, supply chain management, networking, and logistics. BRICS Bridge has been introduced as a key tool to facilitate more effective and dynamic connections between markets and businesses.
The MoU was signed by Nasir Kazeroun, CEO of the BRICS Federation, and Dato Dr. Danny Mah Che Beng, representing GPEI, in Sanya City, Hainan Island, China.
Dr. Danny enthusiastically emphasized that the collaboration includes sharing knowledge, co-hosting events and forums, and organizing research projects in areas such as trade, export opportunities, and investment.
Both parties also agreed to promote trade and tackle supply chain issues between BRICS member countries and Indonesia.
