Egypt has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Microsoft to train 100K individuals in artificial intelligence technologies as part of its national AI strategy for 2025–2030. The agreement aims to equip youth and public sector employees with advanced AI skills, ensuring the country’s workforce is prepared for the demands of a digital economy.
The partnership will focus on responsible AI development, fostering digital innovation, and enhancing institutional capacity through specialized training programs, workshops, and access to Microsoft’s global tools and expertise. It also includes support for the development of Egypt’s AI governance frameworks.
