Brazil reached the highest oil production level in its history in June 2026, producing 4.475M barrels per day. This represents a 4% increase compared with the previous month and a 19.1% rise compared with June 2025.
The country’s combined oil and natural gas production also reached 5.842M barrels of oil equivalent per day. Much of this growth came from offshore pre-salt fields, which now account for around 82% of Brazil’s total oil and gas production.
